As most of you know, I wrote my dissertation on Irish theatre. Many of the plays I analyzed were written during or in reaction to the Northern Irish Troubles. Drew and I had the pleasure of visiting Northern Ireland in 2002 and found it to be a magical place full of kind people who all had their own stories to tell.
I'm writing to request that you send out a prayer for the folks living in Northern Ireland. The peace process is crumbling as riots break out in retaliation of recent events. You can read an article about it here.
