Clara in One-derland!

On Saturday we celebrated one whole year with Clara! It's hard to believe she has been in our lives an entire year, and also hard to picture what life was ever like without her. Clara continually brings us incredible joy, and it really was special to take the day to celebrate her with friends and family.



The birthday girl was a vision in pink (and her mom looked pretty hot, too).

The theme for Clara's party, carried over from her nursery decorations, was Alice in Wonderland, or "Clara in One-derland". Below are some examples of our mad decorating skills in action.

When did Clara turn into a toddler?

I think she looks so grown up in this little sleeper suit. (Yes, Clara is still wearing her brace. These phtos were taken during her hour break from the fancy pants this morning. Instead of romping, she decided to sit back and munch on some puffs. Atta girl.)

Kiss Me...

I'm Irish! 

One year ago today Clara was in my womb making a lot of commotion. That's right, we spent last St. Patrick's day in the hospital with contrations. But, as you might remember, our little peanut hung out inside me for a little while longer. 

So today's was Clara's FIRST St. Patrick's Day and she was full-on decked out in her green hoodie and bows.
