For the grandmothers

To Grammy and Nona, the best grandmothers a kiddo (and her parents )
could ask for.

Before we dive into this next round of craziness, we wanted to pause
to thank you for all of your help (especially on the last few weeks).

We love you, and can't wait for you meet your new grandbaby.

Summer!

In July we took a family vacation up to Oregon and Washington. We had blast on our road trip and are so happy that we got to go.

First stop: Ashland, OR. We spent a few days with my family: watching plays and playing at the park.



Clara and Uncle Porkchop kick it in the park. Uncle Porkchop and Aunt Dee are expecting their first baby in November. We can't wait to meet our niece!

Next stop: Tacoma, WA! We got to catch up with good friends. We stayed with Cyrus and Abbie Brown and got to visit with lots of others. Congratulations to Reid and Steph on the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Juliette! (Somehow we didn't get a photo.)

We camped on our drive home. Clara could not believe her luck: lots of time outside, sleeping in a tent, and Mama and Daddy all to herself!

The rest of these shots were taken today at Quail Hollow. Images like these make me realize just how lucky we are to live here.

Finally, the pregnancy is moving along. Our little girl will likely be making her entrance within the month. If you are so inclined, I could use some prayers for my back. I've been seeing a pain specialists for several months for an inflamed S.I. joint. Otherwise, we are just trying to enjoy our little girl as much as we can before our attention becomes more divided.
