July is here and the weather is changing. It finally feels like summer has arrived and Clara is enjoying it! Here are some bits and pieces of life from the last couple weeks:
Clara decides that summer can't be ALL fun and games, so she starts working on her Math skillz (with a z) as she examines Drew's old college reader.

Clara's got some awesome hand-me-downs from her friend Maia. Because of her brace she always needs to wear leggings. Here the combination of leggings, cute outfit, and side pony makes Clara a rockin' 80s star.
Grammy bought Drew a kid-seat for his bike, so I got Clara a helmet to wear while she rides. Look closely; it has chickens on it.
Last weekend we headed up to Richland for my 10 year reunion. We had a great time with lots of family and of course I forgot to take any pictures of that. But somehow I did manage to grab a few shots from the weekend...
One of my dearest friends, Amanda (Shrader) Burnett and I. Can you tell that we are friends? We're wearing basically matching dresses.

The 98 degree weather warranted some time in the pool. Clara had a ball.
Upon returning home Clara met up with her bud Sebastian (or "Bastie" as she calls him) in a slightly smaller pool...
Here she is post-swim. Notice the shark towel given to Clara by my friend Summer. Why yes, that IS a bow sewn onto its head. Obviously, it's a GIRL shark!
