Heather has had a couple of big firsts recently: her first birthday with our newly expanded family, and her first Mother's Day! We celebrated in style with a trip to the zoo (Clara slept in the Bjorn for nearly the entire time, but we like to think she had an enjoyable and educational time) and the beach (more sleeping). Even if she acts like a sack of potatoes for much of these events, life is still much more fun with Clara involved.
