Four days later, we just keep falling more and more in love. This morning I lay in bed for an hour and a half with Clara sleeping on my chest, not able to bring myself to stop watching her and put her in the bassinet. Heather just this minute said out loud: "Why is she such an angel head? I LOVE her!"
So, things are good. With the help of Heather's mom and sister we've managed to catch up on sleep, and no longer feel like smiling zombies (A clue to my mental state when we arrived at home is the fact that I misspelled "announcing" in the title of the last post...)
I left out a few key items in the last post:
1. Heather was AMAZING during the labor and birth. She was so strong, patient, and focused, and I will forever be proud of and thankful for her.
2. Birth weight: 7 lbs, 9 oz.
3. Length: 20 1/4 inches.
4. Clara rhymes with "Berra" and "Sarah."

Congratulations you guys!! She is beautiful! 7lbs 9oz is the exact same weight that Carter was when he was born. They were meant to be together!
We can't stand it! You two are so cute - of course you called her an "angel head" Heather. She is beautiful. Keep the pictures coming.
she is marvelously pretty. definite angel head. i check this thing MULTIPLE times a day just to see her face again. i'm wowed! you guys are loved and missed!

We are so happy for you both! She is absolutely beautiful, and I love the name you have chosen! We are hopefully shortly behind you in this big adventure!
