Afterwards we went to pick out a Christmas tree at a local farm. The tree's name was Mr. Toad. No seriously, they name every tree at the farm. It's awesome.
It was a good day.

woohoo for hiking. Stella just "graduated" to a big pack herself. Steve took them to Alpine today while i got to sit on a plane. Ugh. Very jealous such trees are right out your back door. When did Clara become such a big girl? Wow. How does the time fly?
honey, you know i love you, but i'm concerned about the height of clara's hat. it seems remarkably tall...is it down all the way? please forgive my ignorance, you know how i know nothing of "weather" and cold weather clothes. xoxo-sum ps kudos to you (& clara) for keeping those gloves on!
